Flash Mob for a global wake up call
Climate change is putting life on earth in peril. There is still time to build a greener, safer world. But the clock is ticking. In December world leaders will meet in Copenhagen to decide our destiny. We want our political leaders to be in Copenhagen and to show historic leadership in achieving a treaty which is fabulous. The world needs a wake-up call on climate change. In September a perfect storm will gather with the the UN General Assembly on Sept 22 and the G20 leaders meet on 24-25.
A flash mob is a large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual action for a brief time, then quickly disperse.
In Kerala, the flash mob will be held in Trivandrum, the capital at 3.50 pm..Calling all youth out for a once-again Youth Climate Action to show that a demand is needed from the public side for a binding treaty by all the world leaders and we want our leaders to know and understand that the time to act and take up actions is NOW
